VISION
A functional Library hub in every schools division is a reservoir of reading materials envisioned to develop among pupils and students the love for and habit of reading.
MISION
The Library Hub equipped with adequate and varied quality supplementary reading materials for public elementary and secondary schools shall be established in all school divisions nationwide.
A library hub is a warehouse of reading materials for public elementary and secondary schools. It’s open throughout the day, Mondays to Fridays, except on holidays. It caters to student of the province’s 236 elementary and 39 secondary schools. As of July 2011, library hub received a total of 18,608 books of supplementary reading materials and research facilities, providing access to students and researchers with limited reference materials. In borrowing and returning of Reading Materials, the School Head or the Teacher is the only one who is allowed to borrow the books from the hub. Borrowed reading materials should be returned after 25 working days. Swapping or exchanging bins is strictly not allowed.
