    Tibang Elementary School partnered with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in a community-based civil registration as the latter marked the celebration of their 32nd Civil Registration Month February 2022 with the theme “Improving Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Implementation Strategies through Digital Transformation”. The school initiated “One- Stop Shop PSA Outreach Program” to address the increasing number of learners without birth certificates due to financial constraints.     Saklaw ng Senior High School (SHS) ang huling dalawang taon ng K to 12, ang Grade 11 at Grade 12.  Sa SHS ang mga mag-aaral ay magtutungo sa isang Core Curriculum at mga Kurso sa ilalim ng kanilang napiling track.

    NANGANGAHULUGAN BANG DAGDAG DALAWANG TAON ANG SHS SA HIGH SCHOOL?
    Ang dagdag na dalawang taong ito ay magbibigay sa mga mag-aaral ng mga kasanayang maghahanda para sa kanilang hinaharap, maging ito man ay sa: Trabaho, Negosyo, Pagpapatuloy ng Tech-Voc Training, Kolehiyo

    NANGANGAHULUGAN BA NA DAGDAG GASTOS ANG DAGDAG NA DALAWANG TAON NG HIGH SCHOOL?
    Libre ang SHS sa pampublikong paaralan.  Mayroon ding Voucher Program para sa mga nagsipagtapos mula sa public junior high school at maging sa Educational Service Contracting (ESC) Beneficiaries ng mga pampribadong paaralan.

    PAANO MAAAPEKTUHAN NG SHS ANG PAG-AARAL SA KOLEHIYO?
    Ang SHS, bilang parte ng K to 12 Basic Curriculum, ay binuo base ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) - ang kagawarang namamahala para sa pamantasan at unibersidad sa Pilipinas. Sinisiguro ng Senior High School na mayroong sapat na kaalaman, kakayahan at kasanayang kinakailangan pagtungtong sa kolehiyo.

    PAANO MAKAKAAPEKTO ANG K TO 12 SA COLLEGE CURRICULUM?
    Ang  College General Education Curriculum ay magkakaroon  ng mas kaunting units.  Ang mga kursong nakuha na sa Basic Education ay matatanggal mula sa College General Education Curriculum.  Ang mga detalye ukol sa bagong GE ay matatagpuan sa CHED Memorandum Order No. 20, series of 2013.

    KAILANGAN BA TALAGA ANG SHS?  KAILANGAN BANG TUMUNGTONG SA SHS?
    Oo, ito ang nakasaad sa ating Batas (RA 10533).  Simula SY 2016-2017, dapat nang sumailalim sa Grade II at 12 upang makapagtapos mula sa High School.

    KUNG HINDI TUTUNGTONG SA SHS, ANONG MANGYAYARI?
    Ang isang studyante sa High School na hindi tutungtong sa SHS ay magiging isang Grade 10 completer at hindi isang High School Graduate.  Ang mga Elementary Graduate ay mga mag-aaral na nakapagtapos sa Grade 6, ang mga High School Graduates naman ay mga mag-aaral na nakapagtapos sa Grade 12.

    MASISIGURO BA NG SHS ANG TRABAHO PARA SA MGA GRADUATES?
    Hindi masisiguro ng SHS ang trabaho NGUNIT  magbibigay ito ng mga sumusunod na oportunidad:
    Malalagay ng standard requirements upang masigurong ang mga magsisipagtapos ay may sapat na kaalaman upang makapasok sa trabaho.
    Maaari nang mag-apply para sa TESDA Certificate of Competency (COCs) at National Certificate (NCs) upang makapagbigay nang mas mainam na oportunidad sa trabaho.
    Magbibigay ng partnership sa iba’t ibang kumpanya para sa mga kursong teknikal at bokasyonal.
    Maaari nang magkaroon ng karanasan sa trabaho habang nag-aaral pa, at maaari na rin tanggapin agad ng kumpanya ang mga magsisipagtapos.
    Isasama na rin ngayon ang mga entrepreneurship courses.  Dahil dito, maaari nang magtayo ng sariling negosyo pagkatapos o ipagpatuloy pa ang edukasyon hanggang kolehiyo.

    SAAN MAKAKAKUHA NG IBANG IMPORMASYON UKOL SA SHS?
    Maaari makakuha ng iba pang impormasyon sa www.deped.gov.ph at sa social media accounts ng DepED.  Maari ring tanungin ang mga pinuno ng eskwelahan (pampubliko o pampribado) upang kumonekta sa DepED Division Office at tumulong mag organisa ng orientation seminars.
